Professional Coaching

Introduction…

At NyeCo, we provide an ongoing partnership designed specifically to help our clients produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives. Whether you are new to coaching or have previously worked with a coach, our goal is to help you make informed decisions about your needs from a coaching engagement with us.

What exactly is Coaching?

Just like a sports coach, a professional coach helps individuals and teams perform to their full potential. Coaching is a change process that mobilizes the strengths and realizes the potential of an individual or an organization. The coach is a facilitator of an enhanced process that includes focused support and challenge that yields learning, self-awareness, personal development, and self-accountability.

Why do people turn to Coaching?

  • Leadership and People Management issues
  • Managing “No” in a “Yes” environment
  • Skill Development
  • Performance Improvement
  • Work & Life Balance
  • Feeling isolated or stuck
  • Too busy to address change
  • Goal setting
  • Communication
  • Dysfunctional work Groups & Teams

What are the differences between Coaching & Counseling?

Coaching: a focused-based relationship between client and coach that targets current and future performance-based improvment activities. It assumes the client is “psychologically healthy” and requires no clinical intervention.

Counseling: a clinical intervention that focuses on helping individuals address underlying psychological issues and trauma recovery. Counseling tends to focus on activities that have occurred in the past, with the client requiring personal healing before moving forward.
